9.00 pm, the second Episode features a performance of Sutartinė, ancient Lithuanian folk songs listed as UNESCO´s intangible cultural heritage since 2010.
The event, supported by the Lithuanian Embassy and the Lithuanian Cultural Institute in Rome, involves the Vilnius University Folk Ensemble "Ratilio", performing in Rome for the first time.

Sutartinė (derived from the word sutarti - to be in harmony) is a form of polyphonic music performed by female singers in the northeast of Lithuania. These songs have poetic lyrics dedicated to labor, the cycle of annual rituals, weddings, family, wars, history, and daily life. The performances are accompanied by simple choreography and austere movements.

Sutartinė are performed on solemn occasions, at festivals, concerts, and social gatherings; their execution aims to promote the sharing of past and present cultural values, with the goal of maintaining continuity in traditions that make up the Baltic cultural identity.

In this Episode, Augustas Serapinas also presents a limited series of 20 editions of Mudballs, created by him with clay and straw, exclusively available for purchase at FOROF, an extension of the Mudmen work, which can be admired on the underground floor of the space.

Food and wine selection by Rimessa Roscioli accompanied by a selection of typical Lithuanian traditional products.
