Danza sulla mia fronte amore is the first Episode of Season II, conceived by Alex Cecchetti as part of Sortilegio, the site-specific project that transforms FOROF into a shamanic, immersive environment woven from nature, rituality, and imagination.
Set within the archaeological site of the Basilica Ulpia, the Episode invites an intimate union between body, spirit, and landscape, drawing the audience into a contemplative and suspended dimension.

The performance
Two dancers perform inside the archaeological area, guided solely by the rhythm of their breath and heartbeat. The absence of external music enhances the intimate and primordial nature of the action.
The performers wear skirts designed and decorated by Cecchetti, inspired by the spinning Dervishes — a reference to mystical trance and the circularity of movement as a form of knowledge.

Context
This Episode is part of the program conceived by Cecchetti for Sortilegio, a cycle of artistic and relational experiences exploring themes such as interspecies interdependence, natural spirituality, and the human belonging to the living world.
Each Episode activates the exhibition through performance, participatory practices, and meditative actions, transforming the viewing experience into a collective sensorial journey.
