Visit senior representatives of MAK Vienna. This week, FOROF welcomed senior representatives of the MAK, Museum of Applied Arts in Vienna. The visit provided an opportunity to highlight our unique approach to linking the ancient history of Rome with contemporary art.
Central to our mission is the enhancement of the excavations of the Basilica Ulpia, a key component of Roman historical heritage, through dialogue with contemporary art. Our current site-specific exhibition, "Baltic Adventure," is a perfect example of this fusion: contemporary artists interpret and breathe new life into ancient spaces, creating an immersive experience that combines past and present.
