TUTTO STUCCO — Gelitin/Gelatin
EPISODE 5 — SEASON IV
On Tuesday, July 1, 2025, FOROF hosted TUTTO STUCCO, the final performance by the Viennese collective Gelitin/Gelatin, marking the closing of the exhibition Nimbus Limbus Omnibus, curated by Bartolomeo Pietromarchi. A festive, liberating collective action to conclude the season.

A cycle of freedom and experimentation
Opened in October 2024, the exhibition developed as a constantly evolving site-specific project, activated by performances and collective actions that transformed FOROF into a living construction site of visions. TUTTO STUCCO represents the final act of a season built with LU.PA, Aitana Cordero and Gelitin/Gelatin themselves, in an ongoing dialogue between art, space and audience.

A ritual of liberation
The performance intertwined plaster, bodies and gestures in a contemporary ritual set in the archaeological spaces of FOROF, symbolically evoking the ancient manumissio ritual through which slaves were liberated in Ancient Rome. With irony, lightness and provocation, Gelitin/Gelatin staged a tension toward freedom.

Matter, memory, irony
Nimbus Limbus Omnibus transformed the hypogeum into a layered landscape: plaster sculptures, fragments, reclaimed materials and shared gestures gave shape to a living archive. The final performance became a collective celebration, weaving together past and present in a single, liberating artistic gesture.

A sacred garden of freedom
As Bartolomeo Pietromarchi noted, the performance is a celebration of liberation in all its forms: from individual freedom to chastity, from self-control to the festive defiance of gravity. In this sacred garden of creativity, Gelitin/Gelatin delivered an ironic, intense and participatory season finale.

A closing toast
As in every episode, TUTTO STUCCO ended with a convivial experience curated by RIMESSA Roscioli, extending the celebration into a shared moment with the audience.
