Great audience turnout for MASBEDO’s performance 2026AC. FOROF’s Artflix moves full speed ahead with the “broadcast” of Episode 3 by Nicolò Massazza and Iacopo Bedogni.
In the hypogeum level of Foro Traiano 1, five performers staged multiple iterations of the immersive experience that brought technology into contact with archaeology and contemporary art, creating an unprecedented short circuit connecting past, present, and future.
The spaces of Foro Traiano 1 transformed before the audience’s eyes. Sounds transported the audience into a parallel world where the canons of Time merge into a single dimension, erasing the boundaries between past, present, and future. It is the discovery of a New Time.
MASBEDO’s creative project, highlighted by the sound design of Michele Lombardelli, is symphonic with the space: the statues of Ancient Rome observe a suspended landscape through screens, while a sequence of 20th-century speeches speaks to us of social utopia.
Before the closing credits of Episode 3, it is time for social gathering and the customary gourmet interlude with the taste-sensory experience curated by Rimessa Roscioli.
