Here and Everywhere. The theme of the Oct. 10 event is a bridge between real and virtual thanks to the Prize on the Metaverse experience, which is even more interesting this year, both because of the environment created and the exclusive display of an out-of-competition work made with artificial intelligence. The theme of the event is "Here and Everywhere."
Nineteenth Day of the Contemporary. On Saturday 7 October 2023, FOROF opened its doors to the public who participated in the Nineteenth Day of the Contemporary, promoted by AMACI with the support of the General Directorate for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture and with the collaboration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
On Wednesday, June 7, 2023, FOROF hosted in its spaces the presentation of the "Driving Energy Award - Contemporary Photography 2023", the competition of Terna, the largest independent grid operator for electricity transmission in Europe.
On 29 May 2023, influencer and creator Angelica Siciliani Fendi presented her book ´Created To Create. We can all be creators, with the right tools" published by Fabbri Editori in 2023, during the FOROF Essenza Special Season. A manual that provides readers, in a clear and immediate way, with lots of practical tutorials, with the tools to communicate, to give space to one´s creativity and an opportunity to one´s business.
On the weekend of May 27/28, 2023 FOROF took part in the Open House Roma initiative, the brainchild of a group of architects and communicators oriented toward socio-cultural innovation.
On May 13, 2023, FOROF took part in the "Night of Museums," an event held simultaneously throughout Europe.
On the 4th of February 2023, FOROF held a charity event in favour of AFRON - a non-profit organisation dedicated to the prevention and treatment of cancer in African countries, on the occasion of World Cancer Day and in conjunction with the exhibition ´Sortilegio´ by Alex Cecchetti. Giovanna Caruso Fendi, founder of FOROF, demonstrated FOROF´s openness as an artistic and cultural start-up to combine history, art and archaeology with solidarity. Titti Andriani, as president of AFRON, spoke about the non-profit organisation´s mission.
The enhancement of ancient spaces through contemporary art identifies and unites two realities such as FOROF and Made in Cloister, which inhabit two cities as beautiful as they are ancient: Rome and Naples.
On September 19, 2022, FOROF hosted the book launch of American visual artist Nathlie Provosty, interviewed by Charity Coleman, writer and editor of Artforum International.
On 8 July 2022, a charity event was held at FOROF in support of the Paediatric Palliative Care Centre of the Bambino Gesù Hospital, during the exhibition ´LOVOTIC´ by Soundwalk Collective.
On 4 May 2022, FOROF hosted a special event in collaboration with Artissima, the first contemporary art fair in Italy. Exactly six months after the opening to the public of its 29th edition, Artissima chose FOROF as a place for gathering and exchange, to meet the protagonists of the Roman contemporary art scene. During the event, FOROF founder Giovanna Caruso Fendi and Artissima´s new director Luigi Fassi discussed the theme of transformative experience in the European cultural scene.
